About Me

Youliang Yuan is a PhD student in the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, advised by Professor Pinjia He. His research focuses on improving the reliability of AI systems, with a special emphasis on large language models (LLMs).

He received his Master’s degree from the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University, and a Bachelor’s degree in the School of Physics Science and Engineering from Tongji University.

Previously, he interned at Tencent AI Lab under the supervision of Dr. Zhaopeng Tu, where he worked on the safety of LLMs. Currently, he is a research intern at Xiaohongshu, mentored by Dr. Wenxiang Jiao, focusing on the proactivity of LLMs and related advanced topics.

His primary research interest lies in the alignment of LLMs and agents. Youliang aims to conduct research that is interesting, insightful, and impactful, and is dedicated to achieving this goal.
